Ho Chi Minh City
You'll be picked up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and driven to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for check-in. After settling in, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around the city at your own pace. Later on, you'll head to a traditional restaurant for a welcome dinner.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Start at 8:00 AM visiting Ho Chi Minh's key landmarks including Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office, all from the French Colonial era. After lunch, you'll check out the War Remnants Museum, then head to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the underground network from wartime. You can crawl through sections of the tunnels, see traditional rice paper and rice wine making, and optionally try firing an AK-47. Plan to return to the city center by 18:00.

Mekong Delta
This morning you'll board a bus heading to the Mekong Delta. First stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda, a 19th century structure that blends European and Asian architectural styles. From there, you'll go to My Tho Cruise Port and board a boat to explore Tien River, passing floating fish rafts and seeing Rach Mieu Bridge. At Thoi Son Island, you'll walk through village life and honey bee farms while having honey lemon tea. You'll also try coconut candy making, ride traditional rowing boats through coconut groves, and can try fishing or cycling. The boat heads back to My Tho around 14:30, then you'll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City by 17:00.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hue
You'll fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue today. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax and explore this historic city at your own pace.

Hue to Danang
Begin your day at Khai Dinh Tomb, which combines Western and Eastern architectural styles from 1920-1931. After lunch, you'll visit the Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then see Thien Mu Pagoda, Vietnam's tallest pagoda and an unofficial symbol of Hue. Later you'll take a scenic dragon boat ride along the Perfume River back to the city center. In the evening, you'll transfer to Danang through Hai Van Tunnel, arriving around 18:30.

Danang to Hoi An
Your hotel pickup is at 8:00 AM for exploring Son Tra Peninsula and visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, home to Vietnam's highest Buddha statue. At 15:30, you'll head to Five Marble Mountain, a cluster of five limestone peaks. Then it's on to Hoi An, a World Heritage site, for a walking tour of the preserved old town blending Chinese, Japanese, and European influences. You'll visit Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge before dinner in Hoi An.

My Son
At 9:00 AM you'll drive 50 km southwest to My Son, a World Heritage site set in a lush valley. You'll explore this archaeological site with red brick towers and sanctuaries built from the 7th to 13th centuries, when it was a capital and religious center of the Cham people. After returning to Hoi An for light lunch, you'll have a free afternoon for shopping.

Hoi An to Hanoi
Spend the morning and early afternoon shopping in Hoi An until noon. Then you'll transfer to Danang Airport and fly to Hanoi. After landing and being picked up from the airport, you'll head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for relaxing and settling in.

Hanoi
Your guide picks you up between 8:00-8:30 AM for a full day of Hanoi's cultural highlights. You'll visit the ancient Tran Quoc Pagoda from the 6th century, explore the Ho Chi Minh Complex to see his embalmed body and houses where he lived and worked (1954-1969), and see the unique One Pillar Pagoda. Next comes the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about 54 ethnic groups (or the Women Museum if Ethnology is closed Mondays). After a Vietnamese lunch with 8 dishes, you'll visit Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university from the 11th century, then Hoa Lo Prison Museum. You'll finish with a Water Puppet Performance before your driver takes you to Hanoi Train Station for your overnight train to Sapa.

Sapa
You'll arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station around 6:00 AM. After being picked up and transferred to Sapa town for breakfast, you'll start trekking down to Lao Chai village to visit the Black H'mong people. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way, then continue through the valley to Ta Van village to meet the Dzay people, known as the friendliest mountain community. You'll visit Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao tribe to see scenery and a waterfall. Back in Sapa town in the afternoon, you'll explore the local market.

Bac Ha - Hanoi
After breakfast in Sapa, you'll travel to Bac Ha Town to join the colorful Sunday Market where thousands of local people in traditional attire buy and sell local products including animals. This market offers great photo opportunities. In the afternoon, take a walk to Ban Pho village, home to the Flower H'Mong people, for interactions with locals. Then you'll travel from Bac Ha to Lao Cai and return to Hanoi via Limousine Shuttle Bus, approximately 6 hours to reach the Hanoi Old Quarter.

Halong Bay
After breakfast, you'll depart Hanoi at 8:00-8:30 AM heading to Halong Bay, covering 577 square miles with more than 3,000 limestone peaks rising from deep blue water. You'll board a traditional Vietnamese wooden boat with hand-crafted interiors, a dining room, and air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Spend a day and a half exploring the seascape with an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast onboard, plus time to swim and visit large rock formations and caves.

Wake to the sound of water and enjoy an early morning swim followed by breakfast. You'll relax on the upper deck taking in the beauty of rocky islands rising from emerald water. Explore caves, swim, and relax as the boat cruises back to the jetty with brunch served as you travel through the bay. Check out from the boat and rejoin your car for the drive back to Hanoi.

Trang An - Hanoi
Meet your guide at 7:00-7:30 AM for a 110 km journey through countryside. At 10:45, you'll visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel featuring Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple from the 17th century. Lunch is at 12:00 with local cuisine. At 13:30, you'll travel to Trang An Grottoes, a natural beauty of limestone massif rising from rice paddies. Explore linked caves including Lam, Vang, Dai, and Thanh Truot caves, plus temples like Cao Son, Suoi Tien, and Vu Lam. At 15:30, reach Mua Cave and trek up Ngoa Long mountain for valley views. Return to your bus at 17:15 and drive back to Hanoi, arriving by 19:30.
