Your Globus local Host will meet you at the hotel between 5pm and 7pm. Until then, you'll have time to settle in and start wandering around Barcelona on your own. The city's yours to explore at whatever pace feels right after you arrive.

Barcelona
A local guide takes you on a walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, hitting Güell Palace, the Gothic Cathedral, Boqueria Market, La Rambla, and Plaça de Catalunya. Later this evening, you can opt for traditional flamenco paired with a Spanish buffet dinner if that appeals to you.

You'll take a high-speed train to Madrid. Your Globus local Host will be waiting for you at the station when you arrive. From there, the afternoon and evening are free, so you can head to your hotel and get oriented with the city.

Madrid
A local guide leads a walking tour covering San Miguel Market, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Cibeles fountain. After that, your afternoon and evening open up. If you're interested, you can take a trip out to Toledo, a medieval walled city that's one of Europe's best preserved.
