  1. Day 1

    Lima

    You'll land in Lima and get settled with guided help to your hotel. This is your arrival day, so it's fairly straightforward - get checked in, grab some rest, and get oriented to the city before things pick up tomorrow.

  2. Day 2

    Lima to Iquitos to Marañon River

    After flying to Iquitos, your guide meets you and takes you to Nauta port where you'll board the luxury cruise. You'll get a pisco cocktail orientation, then head out to the Maranon River at Pahuachiro to watch birds and monkeys as the sun sets. Dinner happens back on the ship once you return.

  3. Day 3

    Pacaya Samiria National Reserve

    This is a full day in the rainforest. Start early for bird watching in Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, then walk the Canopy Walkway that's over 25 meters up and stretches 500 meters through the forest. After lunch, you'll cruise through Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers with options to kayak or paddle board if you want. A night safari on Nauta Caño wraps things up.

  4. Day 4

    Nauta Caño Creek and Local Community

    Take a skiff through Nauta Caño Creek looking for tamarins, dolphins, sloths, caimans, and spiders. Later you'll visit a local community and learn how residents process cassava and grow rice. In the afternoon, trek through the Fundo Casual trail where you might see anacondas, rainbow boas, tarantulas, and poison frogs.

  5. Day 5

    Nauta to Iquitos to Lima

    You'll leave the cruise at Nauta port and head back to Iquitos, stopping at the Amazon Forever Rescue and Rehabilitation Center to see baby manatees. From there, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima, then get settled at your hotel for the night.

  6. Day 6

    Surquillo Market and Cooking Class

    A chef-guided tour through Surquillo's local market shows you typical Peruvian products and unique fruits like chirimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto, and pacae. Then you head to the kitchen to prepare actual Peruvian dishes and have lunch with what you've made before heading back to the hotel.

    Fly to Cusco, the old capital of the Inca Empire. Once you arrive, your transfer takes you to the Sacred Valley, which is about 2 hours away, and you'll check in to your hotel there.

  8. Day 8

    Pisac to Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Village

    Spend the day exploring the Sacred Valley starting with Pisac village, its ruins, and the market. You'll have an Andean lunch, then go to Ollantaytambo to see the impressive fortress. Later, catch the train to Machu Picchu village at the base of the citadel and walk to your hotel where dinner's included.

    Take the bus up to Machu Picchu archaeological site for a guided tour of the ancient architecture and surrounding ruins. After exploring, ride the bus back down to town, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to your hotel in Urubamba.

    Check out Maras with its blend of Inca and colonial buildings. Visit Moray, an Inca ruin with giant circular terraces used for agricultural experiments. See the Salineras salt ponds filled with natural underground springs, worked the same way since Inca times. After lunch, continue to Cusco through Chinchero town.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
