Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Hanoi to Halong Bay

    Your car picks you up from the Old Quarter in Hanoi at 8:00 AM for the drive to Halong. You'll board the Hera Grand Luxury cruise around noon at Tuan Chau Port and head toward Luon Cave and Titop Island. The afternoon gives you time to swim at Titop Island and paddle around Luon Cave, where thousand-year-old rock formations line the water. Later, you'll join a sunset gathering that includes a cooking class where you'll make traditional Vietnamese drift cakes, then sit down for dinner outdoors on deck with evening activities to follow.

  2. Day 2

    Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay Exploration

    After leaving at 8:30 AM from the Titop area, you'll transfer to Lan Ha Bay near the Cat Ba archipelago. Spend an hour and a half kayaking around the Dark and Bright caves, and then grab lunch back on the cruise. Next comes swimming at Ba Trai Dao beaches with their white sand. From there you'll return to Halong Bay and check out the Pearl Farm Exhibition Center and Museum to see how pearls are farmed and harvested. Back on the cruise, relax on the Sundeck before a sunset gathering with a cooking class and finish with a Gala Dinner either on the sun deck or inside the restaurant.

    • Visiting Pearl Farm Exhibition Center and Museum to learn about pearl farming and harvesting for approximately forty minutes
    • Relaxation on Sundeck with opportunity for photos
    • Free use of foot soak basin and sauna room
    • Sunset party and cooking class to make traditional Vietnamese drift cakes
    • Gala Dinner on sun deck or in Lily's Restaurant
    • Evening activities: herbal foot bath in room (free), music and drinks at Sky Bar
    • Squid fishing from deck at night

  3. Day 3

    Sung Sot Cave and Return to Hanoi

    Your final day starts early if you join the optional Tai Chi class at 6:15 AM on the sun deck, followed by light breakfast at 6:30 AM. You'll then explore Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest caves in Halong Bay, and navigate steep stone steps through its unique rock formations. After returning to the cruise, you can rest, try herbal foot baths, or sunbathe on deck. Check out by 9:30 AM, have an early lunch buffet, and you'll arrive back at Tuan Chau Marina by 11:00 AM where your trip ends.

    Hera Grand Luxury Cruise was an amazing experience. The 5 course meals were delicious and staff friendly and attentive. Our accommodation was comfortable and gorgeous. Communication with company was prompt and thorough most of the time. Our final transfer had hiccups that were resolved.

    which room has bath tub? Junior Suite doble is ok??

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
