Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bratislava
You'll arrive at Bratislava or Vienna Airport where your driver guide meets you in the arrival hall. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel in downtown Bratislava. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax, or if you're not too tired, you can wander around the immediate area and get a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Bratislava City Tour
After breakfast, your driver guide picks you up from the hotel lobby to start a full city tour. You'll see the Presidential Palace, Slavin Monument, and Bratislava Castle, a 9th-century fortress that now functions as a public museum. Then the tour shifts to walking through downtown, where you'll check out the Jewish Quarter, St. Martin Cathedral, Keglevich Palace, the National Theater and Opera building, Main Square, Old Town Hall, Roland Fountain, Franciscan Church, and St. Michaels Gate. You'll head back to your hotel by evening.

Čičmany and Oravský Hrad to High Tatras
You drive about two hours after breakfast to Cicmany village to see distinctive log houses with their characteristic white geometric patterns. From there, it's roughly another hour and a half to Oravsky Hrad, one of Slovakia's finest castles and the filming location for the 1922 vampire film 'Nosferatu'. Later, you'll drive east toward High Tatras National Park and check into your hotel there.

High Tatras, Spis Castle, and Levoca
Start your day with a brief morning walk in High Tatras to get energized. Then drive to Spis Castle, Europe's largest existing castle built originally in the 12th century and designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1993. Keep in mind the castle closes November through March, so during those months you can only view it from outside. After that, you'll visit the neighboring medieval town of Levoca, also a UNESCO site, before returning to your hotel in the High Tatras area.

Vlkolinec, Banska Stiavnica, and Return to Bratislava
You drive back toward Bratislava but make stopovers along the way. First is Vlkolinec, a mountainous village in central Slovakia with 45 traditional wooden houses, some dating back to 1770, plus historic wooden bell towers. After that, you drive through Low Tatras National Park and continue to Banska Stiavnica, a UNESCO heritage site designated in December 1993. You'll explore its old mining roads, browse stylish cafes, and check out characteristic restaurants that draw artists and travelers. Then it's the drive back to Bratislava.
