Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
Your hotel pickup happens early morning for the 2.5-hour drive to Ha Long Bay, with a break somewhere along the way. Once you reach Tuan Chau harbor, you'll board your boat and have traditional Vietnamese seafood lunch while out on the water. After that, there's time to walk through Sung Sot Grotto. For the next part, you get to choose your own adventure—either kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave, depending on what appeals to you. At Titop Island, you can swim on the beach or hike up to the peak if you want those panoramic photos. The drive back to Hanoi takes another 2.5 hours or so, and you'll get to your hotel around 9 PM.
