Hong Kong to Guilin to Yangshuo
Head out early for the 4-hour bullet train to Guilin on your own. Once you arrive, someone will meet you and take you to Yangshuo. Later this evening, walk through West Street, which is the main tourist area with shops, restaurants, and local energy.

Yangshuo

Yangshuo

- Day 6
Yangshuo to Chongqing
Take the 5-hour bullet train from Guilin to Chongqing. When you arrive, you'll visit Liziba Light Train Station, where the train actually runs right through tall buildings, then head to Hong Ya Dong to see its layered architecture. Later, board your 5-star cruise and settle in for the 4-day Yangtze River journey.

Yangtze River Cruise
Today you'll cruise through Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge, two of the three famous gorges on the Yangtze River. One shore excursion is included so you can get closer views of these dramatic rocky landscapes.

Yichang to Shanghai
The cruise pulls into Yichang this morning, and you'll have time to check out Three Gorge Dam Park before getting off at noon. From there, you catch a flight to Shanghai. Once you land, a transfer takes you to your hotel where you'll settle in for the night.
