Colombo
You'll arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo and get transferred to your hotel in Waikkala. After checking in, settle in and get ready for the next few days exploring Sri Lanka.

Waikkala to Dambulla
Following breakfast, head toward Habarana with a stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you'll watch rescued elephants being bathed and cared for. From there, continue to Dambulla to see the cave temple complex featuring 153 Buddha statues carved into five caves beneath a 160-meter rock face.

Dambulla to Polonnaruwa and Minneriya National Park
After breakfast, travel to Polonnaruwa and walk through the ancient city's historical ruins. Later in the evening, visit Minneriya National Park for a chance to spot elephants gathering around the ancient water tank, especially during drier months when herds congregate here.

Dambulla
Spend the day in the countryside with a village tour that includes paddy field sightseeing, bullock cart rides, and traditional catamaran rides on a lake. You'll see traditional agriculture and have an authentic Sri Lankan lunch. By evening, climb Sigiriya Rock, an ancient palace and fortress complex that's one of Sri Lanka's most valuable historical sites.

Dambulla to Kandy

Once in Kandy, Sri Lanka's third island capital, you'll watch a cultural show with traditional dancers and magicians in the evening, then visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

From there, transfer to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya and relax.

Nuwara Eliya

Stop by the colorful Seetha Amman Hindu temple decorated with religious figures, then return to your hotel.

You'll see the Nine Arch Bridge, an engineering marvel built nearly 100 years ago with stone and cement blocks, and Ravana Falls where an 82-foot waterfall drops from an oval concave rock. Check in to your hotel in Thissamaharama for the night.

Thissamaharama to Yala National Park

Thissamaharama to Galle to Mirissa

Following breakfast, take a scenic boat safari on the Madu River and explore an estuary with 64 islands and diverse ecosystems. You'll experience Fish Therapy and visit a Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation. Return to your hotel for dinner and the night.

Bentota to Colombo
