Your Safari Representative meets you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and rest up. If you're interested, there's a half-day option to explore Nairobi on your own schedule.

Nairobi to Samburu
You'll drive to Samburu and arrive around lunchtime. After eating, head out on a game drive where you'll start spotting wildlife specific to this region like Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy's Zebras, Beisa Oryx, and Blue-necked Somali Ostriches that you won't find in many other parts of Kenya.

Landmarks Samburu National Reserve - Day 3
Samburu
This is a full day in Samburu with game drives in both the morning and afternoon. You'll explore the rivers, forests, and scenic landscape looking for leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River. The reserves have over 365 bird species documented here.

Samburu to Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, you'll depart at 07:00 and drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake situated in the Kenyan Great Rift Valley. Lunch comes soon after arrival. The afternoon is free time, and if you want to get on the water, there's an optional boat excursion available.

Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara
Start with an early breakfast, then meet your driver guide for a safari briefing before heading to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You'll drive past the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment and Suswa plains, arriving in time for lunch. Your first game drive happens in the evening.

Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara to Nairobi
You'll have a leisurely breakfast before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Head straight to the airport for your flight, or take an optional refresher package at Crown Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel where you can use the rooftop area, bar, and swimming pool before your departure.
