Kate· October 19th, 2023Booking was long drawn out and confusing. Between payment and final confirmation of tickets, hotels, etc. took over a month. By that time my partner and I were already in another country and struggling to download itineraries and get the necessary information for this leg of the trip making the entire lead up very stressful and put an immediate damper on the holiday. There was no information on ticket validation for trains, which again made our experience very stressful as we were unsure if we had valid passes for travel or would get fines for unvalidated tickets. More support on travwl in Italy really was needed. Finally our last train out of Venice to Rome was booked way too late for comfort. The train ended up being an hour delayed and we had to make constant last minute changes to tickets on the rail app and ended up having to run through the airport in order to make our flight and bag drop. Not overly convenient or helpful for the price paid.Show more
