Leaving Nouakchott early, you'll drive north into the Adrar desert with several stops along the way for photography. The landscape shifts as you move deeper into the region, and by midday you'll reach Terjit Oasis. This natural spring oasis offers a chance to cool off and walk around the water source, which feels like finding an unexpected refuge in the middle of the desert.

Chinguetti

Iron Ore Train Adventure
Today centers on the mining operation and the train experience. You'll visit the mining company to learn how it operates, then board what holds the record as the world's longest train. Nouadhibou

Nouakchott

Departure
