Itinerary
- Day 1
Guangzhou to Congjiang to Zhaoxing
Your guide picks you up from your Guangzhou hotel at 8:00am and drives you to Guangzhou South Railway Station for a 3.5-hour bullet train to Congjiang. After arriving, you're transferred to Zhaoxing Dong Village where you'll walk through the old houses and check out the Drum Tower, seeing local Dong people wearing colorful traditional costumes. From there, you drive up to Tang'An Dong Village high in the mountains to get a feel for how people live in a more traditional setting, then head back to Zhaoxing. By evening, you wander the old village again when the lights are on, which changes the whole atmosphere of the place.

- Day 2
Zhaoxing to Basha to Congjiang to Guangzhou
An early morning 30-minute drive takes you to Basha Miao village, which is known as the last gun tribe in China. You'll watch local Miao people perform and learn about their traditions, then walk around the village to see the terraced farms on the hillside. Later you're driven back to Congjiang Railway Station to catch the bullet train returning to Guangzhou, where you're dropped off at your hotel and the tour ends.
