I did Italy on my home last year and was a lot easier to know beforehand what hotel you are going to. It’s not hard to do a tour like this on your own and will save you a lot of money. The hotels definitely are NOT 4 star hotels - more like 2 star hotels. Small, dinghy rooms with terrible beds/pillows and awful breakfasts. This is considered a semi organized package which means we offer the combination of a few guided excursions and lots of free time at destination. The tour leader will only be with you during the excursions included. If you need other assistance during the tour whether that is to book additional excursions or dealing with an emergency, we will be providing you with documents including numbers to get assistance right away.

Optional tours are available however, we do not offer them. You can either book these ahead of time online on your own or you can book them at destination through the assistance of your hotel reception. This package does not involve much walking at all. We include a half day walking tour in each city which is at a very light pace. We do indeed include the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. A visit generally entails an entrance whereas 'see' entails passing by however, no entrance included. For the early check in, we can add the cost of 1 additional night pre-tour to allow for them to enjoy their room as soon as they arrive. We can also make sure to have 2 twin beds in each room however we can put a note for their preference of a quiet room but can not guarantee this as it is based on availability.
