Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Your guide and driver will meet you at Tan Son Nhat International Airport when you land. After clearing customs, you'll head to your hotel to drop off your luggage and get settled after the flight.
- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Early morning departure takes you northwest to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you'll walk through the historic underground network from the Vietnam War era. Back in Ho Chi Minh City by afternoon, you'll see the General Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and stop at the War Remnants Museum to learn about the country's history.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
After breakfast, you're heading to the Mekong Delta for a motorized boat ride through rural waterways. You'll visit local fruit gardens, watch traditional folk music, and check out bee houses and coconut candy shops. A rowing boat trip through coconut groves follows, then you'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and catch a domestic flight to Hanoi.

Hanoi
Starting with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Presidential Palace, you'll then walk through the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university from 1070. After lunch, the Museum of Ethnology shows you the country's 54 ethnic groups. Later in the day, you'll ride in a cyclo around the Old Quarter and finish with a Water Puppet performance.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
An early shuttle bus takes you from Hanoi toward Ha Long Bay. Once you board the cruise ship, you'll see limestone islands and enter Sung Sot Cave. Kayaking through Luon Cave, swimming, and hiking Titop Island fill the afternoon. Dinner happens on the ship with options for squid fishing, karaoke, or stargazing later.

Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
Your morning offers time to swim or relax with breakfast. The cruise passes rock formations shaped like the Fighting Cock, Incense Urn, Lonely Dog, Finger, and Duck. After checking out and having lunch aboard, the shuttle takes you back to Hanoi by evening.

Hanoi to Luang Prabang
You'll spend your final morning in Hanoi before heading to the airport for an international flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Check-in at your hotel happens between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM. The rest of the day is free for resting and getting comfortable in your new location.
- Day 8
Luang Prabang
Starting with Wat Visoun and its Thad Makmo stupa, you'll move to Wat Aham, then head to Vat Xiengthong, the most photographed temple here, positioned where two rivers meet. In the afternoon, you'll tour the former Royal Palace now serving as the National Museum, and see Wat Mai with its golden decorations.

Luang Prabang
A traditional long tail boat takes you upstream on the Mekong River through mountain scenery. You'll visit Pak Ou Caves to see hundreds of old Buddha images, then stop at Ban Xangkhong to try weaving on wooden looms. After that, you're driving through rice paddies to Kuang Si Waterfall, visiting the bear rescue center, and swimming in turquoise pools with orchids around you.
