Lake Manyara National Park
The drive takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll spend the day checking out this diverse ecosystem backed by the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and various monkey species as you make your way through some excellent game viewing spots.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast, you'll drive roughly 6 hours (205 km) through Karatu's highland farmland and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to reach Serengeti National Park. By lunchtime you'll be in the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats around, followed by an afternoon game drive to get oriented.

- Day 4
Serengeti
This full day in Serengeti includes morning and afternoon game drives. Following breakfast, head along the Sogore River Circuit searching for lions, gazelles, and cheetahs, then swing by the Visitor's Centre for wildlife displays and a picnic lunch. The afternoon takes you around the Maasai Kopjes where lions and other wildlife hang out among weathered granite outcrops.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
You'll leave after breakfast and head toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, making a stop at Olduvai Gorge to learn about human evolution discoveries. After lunch, you'll descend over 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon safari spotting vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and elephants, plus predators like lions and leopards. Stop by Lake Magadi to see flamingos and hippos.
