Itinerary

Arusha
Your safari starts with a hotel pickup in Arusha between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. From there you'll head to Arusha National Park, which sits at the base of Mount Meru and features forests, flamingo-filled lakes, and good birding opportunities. You'll do game drives where you can spot giraffes, buffalos, and other wildlife throughout the day. After the drives, there's a walking portion to explore the park on foot before returning to your lodge for dinner.

Arusha to Tarangire
You'll depart Arusha around 7:00 AM for about 2.5 hours to reach Tarangire National Park. The whole day involves game drives where you'll see the park's elephant herds, plus lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, giraffes, and zebras moving around massive baobab trees. Around midday you'll break for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot, then continue with more driving until about 5:00 PM before heading back to your lodge for dinner.

- Day 3
Tarangire to Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast, you'll drive about 30 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drives take you through lush Acacia and Mahogany forests where you can spot buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, blue monkeys, and possibly the famous tree-climbing lions. During the right season, millions of flamingos turn the shoreline pink. You'll have a picnic lunch partway through, then continue driving until around 5:00 PM before heading back to Arusha, arriving before 6:00 PM. This marks the end of your tour.
