Itinerary
- Day 1
Colonia del Sacramento
Your driver meets you at the ferry terminal in Colonia del Sacramento and takes you to a riverside hotel. Once you're settled and have had time to take in the views, a guide leads you through the historic quarter on foot, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with colonial architecture and winding streets to explore.

Colonia del Sacramento to Montevideo
After your driver picks you up, you'll head east toward Montevideo, which takes about 2.5 hours. Once at your hotel, a guided tour starts from Puerto Market and includes a local asado lunch. The afternoon has you walking through Ciudad Vieja and checking out Plaza Independencia, Salvo Palace, and Solis Theater, then moving on to Castillo Pittamiglio and Playa Pocitos before heading back.

Montevideo to Punta del Este
After breakfast, you'll drive roughly 2 hours to Altos de la Ballena near Punta Ballena for wine tasting among the vineyards, plus tastings of cheese, cured hams, and snacks. In the afternoon, Casapueblo comes next with its distinctive white architecture and views as the sun sets, then you continue to Punta del Este. If you're interested, La Mano is available to visit on your own time.

Punta del Este to Jose Ignacio
You'll travel 32km east to Jose Ignacio, a charming beach town that still has its fishing village character. The lighthouse tour teaches you about the town's past, and you get to wander around and meet some residents. Later there's free time to relax on the beach before your transfer back to Punta del Este in the afternoon.

A private transfer takes you to Montevideo Carrasco International Airport, which is 114km away and takes roughly 2 hours. From there you'll depart for your next destination.
