  1. Day 1

    Rome Arrival

    You'll arrive at Rome airport and head to your hotel in the city center. At 5pm, join a small group walking tour that takes you through Rome's main attractions like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Navona Square, plus some quieter side streets you might otherwise miss. Grab dinner on your own afterward, then return to the hotel to settle in.

    Rome

    After breakfast, you'll start a walking tour at the Colosseum and continue through the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where you can take in views across the Forum and Circus Maximus. The tour covers the heart of Imperial Rome's ruins. From there, your afternoon and evening open up for wandering on your own or booking optional activities if something interests you.

    Rome

    Following breakfast, head to the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel to see the main works there. Lunch is whenever you want to find somewhere. In the afternoon, you're free to explore Rome at your own pace or consider optional excursions like the Frascati wine region, Bracciano Lake, or Tivoli and its villas.

    Pompeii and Amalfi Coast

    After breakfast, you'll take a full day trip to Pompeii with skip-the-line access and an English-speaking guide leading the tour through the ancient ruins. Later, drive along the Amalfi Coast and stop in Positano, a seaside village, with time to walk around. Lunch happens whenever you choose. You'll return to Rome by late afternoon, leaving evening free for your own dinner plans.

  5. Day 5

    Rome to Florence

    Following breakfast, check out and take the train to Florence, then check into your central hotel. In the early afternoon, join a walking tour that starts with skip-the-line entry to the Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. From there you'll see the Duomo, Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Piazza della Repubblica, and cross the Ponte Vecchio. Dinner is on your own that evening.

    Florence and Tuscan Countryside

    Enjoy breakfast and a slow morning moving through Florence at your own pace, checking out whatever catches your eye. After lunch, board a minibus heading into the Tuscan countryside to Siena and San Gimignano. In Siena, explore Piazza del Campo and learn about the Contrade districts. San Gimignano shows off its medieval towers and tight streets. You'll watch the sunset over the hills, then sit down to a traditional Tuscan dinner with wine tasting at a Chianti villa before heading back to Florence.

Your guide will point out hidden spots locals actually use. An optional gondola ride is available if you want it. Dinner is whenever you prefer.

Otherwise, just wander the city on your own. Dinner is free to organize as you like.

    Venice to Milan

    After breakfast, head out on a full day excursion from Milan to Lake Como, where you'll see grand villas and explore the romantic village of Bellagio. The tour continues into Switzerland to Lugano, where your guide discusses the city's chocolate making history. You'll return to Milan by late afternoon with the evening available to explore at your own pace.
