- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Your driver picks you up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. After checking in, the rest of the day is open so you can either relax at the hotel or wander around the city streets on your own.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast comes at 8:30 am at the hotel, then you'll head out on a city tour hitting Reunification Hall, the Old Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and either the Jade Emperor Pagoda or War Museum depending on what interests you. From there, you travel out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a massive network of underground passages spanning 210 kilometers that guerrilla fighters started building back in 1940 and used throughout the Vietnam War. You'll get back to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

- Day 3
Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll have the morning and early afternoon free to explore Ho Chi Minh City however you'd like. About 3 hours before your flight, the hotel arranges your pickup and takes you to Noi Bai Airport. Once you land in Hanoi, you're transferred to your hotel. There's an optional half day city tour available that covers West Lake, the Flower Market, Truc Bach Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Temple of Literature, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the car), along with a traditional water puppet performance. You'll spend the night in Hanoi.

- Day 4
Hanoi to Halong Bay
The hotel picks you up between 8:00 and 8:30 am for the scenic 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. You board the cruise at 12:30 pm and have lunch after checking in. The afternoon includes exploring Sung Sot Cave, which involves climbing up 600 steps to see the limestone formations, plus time to relax on the sundeck with drinks. You'll join a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls, and the evening has bar time, spa services, and squid fishing. You stay overnight on the cruise.

- Day 5
Halong Bay
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the bay, then join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Coffee and tea with homemade pastries are served onboard. Later you can relax or head to Titop Island for swimming, kayaking, or trekking if you're interested. Vietnamese breakfast happens as the cruise moves through beautiful sections of the bay. After checking out, you head back to the Tourist Wharf, and there's a quick stop for restrooms and shopping for local handmade items along the way. You'll arrive back in Hanoi around 3:30 pm, check into your hotel, and stay there for the night.

- Day 6
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
The hotel picks you up at 8:00 am for a 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh through nice scenery. You visit Hoa Lu, the ancient Royal Capital, and explore two temples, the Temple of King Dinh and King Le, both with interesting old architecture. Lunch is at a local restaurant with regional food. From there, you board a small sampan for a 2.5-hour boat trip through Tam Coc (which means three caves) where you'll see limestone cliffs similar to Halong Bay, go through mysterious caves, pass peaceful streams, rice paddies, and green fields. If there's time, you can visit Bich Dong Pagoda nearby and climb up for views of the area. You head back to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

There are no scheduled activities today. You can relax at the hotel or shop around in the old quarter at your own pace. Hotel checkout is before noon. If you want to arrange any additional trips, the tour team can help set that up for you.
