Kalka to Shimla
You'll arrive at Kalka railway station and board the toy train for a scenic ride through the Himalayas. The journey crosses 103 tunnels and winds through mountain passes on its way to Shimla. After you arrive, transfer to your hotel and settle in for the night.

Shimla to Tirthan Valley
Following breakfast, you get a briefing on your Royal Enfield motorcycle before riding out of Shimla along the Hindustan Tibet road through the Satluj valley. Stop at Jalori Pass for tea, then descend into Tirthan valley through the small town of Banjar. Your hotel sits on the banks of the Tirthan River.

Tirthan Valley to Naggar
Ride along the Tirthan River to Aut and pass through a 3 km tunnel to enter Kullu valley. You'll stop at a local shawl factory, then continue to Naggar, the former capital of the Kullu rulers. Check out Naggar Castle, the Roerich Art Gallery, and walk past the Tripura Sundari temple before reaching your hotel.

Naggar to Jispa
Ride through Sollang Valley and cross the Atal Rohtang Tunnel, the world's longest tunnel above 3000 m altitude/9842 ft. You'll enter Lahaul valley and ride along the Chandra River through Tandi, Keylong, and Gemur villages to reach Jispa. Check in to your tented camp.

Jispa to Sarchu
Head out from Jispa toward Sarchu on your Royal Enfield, riding through Darcha and ascending over Baralachala Pass at 4800 m/15748 ft. Arrive at camp and settle in for the evening with free time to explore the Sarchu area.

Sarchu to Tsokhar
After breakfast, ride from Sarchu crossing Naki La and Lachang La passes, then traverse the More plains to arrive at Tsokhar at 4520 m/14826 ft. This high-altitude lake is a protected bird sanctuary with migratory birds including the endangered black-necked crane. Explore on foot before camping.

Ascend to Tanglang La pass at 5328 m/17480 ft and descend to Upshi to enter the Indus valley. Ride along the river to the ancient town of Leh, check in at your hotel, and spend the evening checking out Leh market, Leh Palace, or catching the sunset from Shanti Stupa.
