- Kinga· June 2nd, 2025The trip was very well organized. I got picked up and dropped off to the airport without any problems. The drivers were very nice and accommodating. They gave me helpful tips and were patient with me practing Spanish. The hotel Regente was clean and the staff very nice. Everyone in general was always helpful with everything. My orgiinal.city Tour was cancelled but instead i was put on Xochimilko boat ride which was awesome and I am happy it all turned out that way. Ivan and Susy were great tour leaders. I was ableShow more

- Kathleen· November 13th, 2024The journey was amazing as was the guide Rameses. His knowledge and passion for Mexico is remarkable. We travelled in a small bus which was not suitable for the long trips as most days we had six to eight hours driving in very hot conditions. It was very uncomfortable having six to eight people on the tour in a small busShow more

Asked on August 22nd, 2023Hi, I was wondering if there is a more detailed schedule that I could see? Like when we would leave in the mornings and when we would arrive at night? Also, is this with the same group every day? I am a solo traveller and I would love to meet some new people!
- SAT Mexico Tour and Travel Operator•Written August 2023
In Shared Tours we do not include timing in the itineraries because these tend to vary a lot depending on the season and the guide's criteria. Some may schedule tours an hour earlier or be more flexible and schedule later if it is low season. Our Shared Tours or Programs are designed so that you can get to know the best places in Mexico in the company of a group of travelers (different every day), so you will share every activity with them.

Traveler•Written August 2023Hi, I'm a little confused, in your description of the tour it says that you can be a solo traveller, and that you can share a room with someone else so you don't have to pay the double amount? Also, if I clicked on the tour starting from August 29, it said that they're were 8 spots left and it was a total group of 14? I'm confused, are we talking about the same tour?
- SAT Mexico Tour and Travel Operator•Written August 2023
We do not offer shared room reservations with other (unknown) travelers unless you get and agree with someone else to share a Double room, but since you are a single passenger, you will need a Single room instead of a Double room. When we say Solo Traveler we mean that for that specific departure there are no more confirmed passengers with the exception of you, this means that the tour cannot operate until we reach the minimum of 2 people, unless you agree to pay the Solo Traveler supplement.

Asked on June 21st, 2023How do we get to starting location?
- SAT Mexico Tour and Travel Operator•Written June 2023
The most recommended option to get to Tuxtla Gutierrez (starting point of our Mexico Southern Adventure Shortcut Tour) from Cancun is with a domestic flight. There are two airlines operating this route: Volaris and Viva Aerobus Airlines. You must arrive at Tuxtla Gutierrez on August 25 before 1:00 p.m. so that you can join the tour on the same day, but since this would not be possible due to flight schedules, you would have to spend one night in Tuxtla Gutierrez to start the tour on next day: August 26, with Sumidero Canyon tour.

Traveler•Written June 2023Unfortunately we will be arriving by 4 pm local time so unless there is a morning flight then I doubt a tour that doesn't start in Cancun would be doable.

Asked on November 20th, 2022Looking at the trip to Mexico Southern Adventure Shortcut Tour, when do we finish site seeing on the last day so I can book my flight back to Los Angeles
- SAT Mexico Tour and Travel Operator•Written November 2022
Last minute reservations are more difficult to confirm because they do not allow us to make all the arrangements for your trip in time. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance. If you are interested in another date, let us know.

Asked on November 5th, 2022I'm traveling alone. Looking for a tour along Mexico someday in January. Is this tour going to be operated anyway or it should be a minimum number of participants to be reached?
- SAT Mexico Tour and Travel Operator•Written November 2022
All our seat in basis programs operate with a minimum of 2 travellers, and unfortunately we have no confirmed passengers for this tour on the requested dates. As an alternative we can offer you other tours closer to the dates you are interested in.
