Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek to Sossusvlei
Your driver meets you at Hosea Kutako International Airport with a name board ready to go. From there, it's a 4-hour drive through Namibia heading toward Sossusvlei in Namib Naukluft National Park, and you'll stop along the way for photos to break up the journey. Once you arrive at the lodge, there's time for a walk around the grounds if the afternoon light permits. Dinner happens at the lodge later that evening.

- Day 2
Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
This day focuses on the Sossusvlei area and its red dunes that climb nearly 400 meters high. You'll check out Dune 45, Elim Dune, Big Daddy Dune, and Deadvlei, each offering different perspectives of the landscape. After exploring these highlights, you drive to Swakopmund, Namibia's second largest city, which sits along the coast. It's a significant drive, so expect to spend time on the road after your morning activities.

- Day 3
Swakopmund
Start your morning with a guided Living Desert Experience where local experts help you learn about Namib Desert wildlife and plants. You'll search for scorpions, snakes, lizards, and hardy vegetation that survives here. The afternoon gives you free time to walk around Swakopmund and get a feel for the town. If you're interested in action, optional extreme sports activities are available to try during your downtime.

- Day 4
Skeleton Coast to Twyfelfontein
Head north along the Skeleton Coast, a dramatic stretch where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, and you'll see shipwrecks along the way. Later, you reach Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Open Air Museum nearby. Check out the Organ Pipes rock formations and Burnt Mountain. Around the Huab River, look for desert-adapted elephants roaming the area. Before overnight, visit the Damara Living Museum to learn about local culture. Dinner and lodging happen here.

- Day 5
Twyfelfontein to Etosha National Park
Start driving east toward Khorixas and pause at the Petrified Forest along the way. Continue on to Etosha National Park, which contains 114 mammal species and 340 bird species across its vast landscape. You'll check in at your lodge near Anderson Gate, the southern entrance, and settle in. After some rest, join an afternoon game drive with other lodge guests to start seeing wildlife as the day cools.

- Day 6
Etosha National Park
Spend the full day exploring Etosha's southwestern section with your guide leading game drives. You'll look for white African elephants, lions in the shade, the Oryx (Namibia's national animal), and plenty of other species. By noon, head back to the lodge for lunch and a break during the hottest hours of the day. Once things cool down in the afternoon, you'll head out again for another game drive to catch more wildlife activity.

- Day 7
Etosha National Park
Check out of the lodge early and spend a full day driving through Etosha toward the eastern boundary with your guide. You'll see various endemic animals throughout the park, and since you're visiting during dry season, animals congregate at scattered waterholes, which makes viewing them much easier and more frequent than other times of year.

- Day 8
Departure
Your driver arranges your transfer to Windhoek airport or directly to your hotel in Windhoek, depending on what you prefer. This is your departure day, so coordinate your flight or next steps accordingly with your guide before heading out.
