Itinerary
- Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Your hotel pickup happens in the morning, and then you're driven into Tarangire National Park with the vehicle roof open so you can see everything. The park has over 4,000 elephants, which you'll likely spot right away along with giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, and antelopes. After lunch at a picnic area, you continue looking for wildlife before heading to your lodge or camp for the evening.

Landmarks/POIs Tarangire National Park - Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Start early and drive through the Rift Valley heading toward the crater uplands. Ngorongoro Crater drops about 600 meters and holds the big five (elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, rhinoceros) plus most other East African savanna animals. You'll have a picnic lunch, keep watching for wildlife through the afternoon, then leave the crater and drive to your lodge or camp for dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Ngorongoro Crater Rift Valley - Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, which is one of Tanzania's smaller parks. Thousands of flamingos and pelicans gather here seasonally, along with over 100 bird species. Around the forested edges you'll see elephants with big tusks, giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. By evening you drive back to Arusha.
