Fairbanks
You'll arrive in Fairbanks and get settled at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do what you'd like around the city. You could check out the museums, walk through the University of Alaska's campus, or pop into Santa House if you want to grab some souvenirs.

- Day 2
Fairbanks to Denali National Park
Head out early and take a shuttle to the Alaska Railroad Station. From there, you'll spend four hours on the train with nice views the whole way before you reach Denali National Park. Once you arrive around midday, you'll set up camp and head to the visitor centre for some orientation before checking out the hiking trails nearby.

- Day 3
Denali National Park
You'll get on a guided bus tour of Denali National Park, heading from Tundra Loop toward the Savage River area. Keep your eyes open for moose, caribou, and grizzly bears in the wild. The day involves hiking through different trails, some short and some longer, so you can see the landscape and hopefully catch a view of Mount McKinley (Denali) if the weather cooperates.

Denali National Park to Anchorage
Pack up camp and take a bus to Anchorage, which takes about six hours. You'll pull in around noon and then board a floatplane for a ride over the city and Chugach Mountains. From the air, you'll see wildlife and get a whole different perspective on the area. After landing, you'll head back to camp in Anchorage for the night.

Landmarks Chugach Mountain - Day 5
Anchorage
Start by heading to Eagle River to see the waterfall and cliffs there. Then you'll spend most of your day at Matanuska Glacier doing guided walks and hiking around. You'll get to see the local plants and animals, plus some old mine ruins from way back. After that, you'll return to your camp in Anchorage.

Landmarks Matanuska Glacier Eagle River - Day 6
Anchorage to Seward
You'll leave early for Seward, driving along the coast for about two hours. Once there, you'll board a six-hour cruise through Kenai Fjords to look for whales and other wildlife, plus you'll see glaciers and get close to an active tidewater glacier. Later in the day, you'll have time to walk around Seward's harbor on your own before heading to camp.

- Day 7
Seward to Anchorage
You'll have the morning and early afternoon to explore Seward at your own pace before heading back to Anchorage. From there, you'll catch your flight home with plenty of photos and memories from your time in Alaska.
