Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival in DhakaYour driver and guide meet you at Dhaka International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. They'll stay with you throughout the entire tour, so you'll have consistent support getting oriented to the city. 
- Day 2DhakaStart by heading to Kawranbazar Vegetable Market to see how locals shop and work. From there, check out the National Assembly building for its distinctive design, then visit Dakari University to see Curzon Hall, which played a key role in the Bengali language movement. After lunch, wander through Lalbagh Fort and visit Dhakeswari Temple, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, and Ahsan Manzil's pink palace. Later, head to Sadarghat River Port for an optional boat ride before boarding an overnight ship to Barisal around 8:30 pm. - Meals

- Day 3Barisal to Bagerhat to SundarbansYou'll disembark early in Barisal and take a boat through the backwaters and floating market, watching locals trade guava and vegetables. After lunch, drive to Bagerhat to see the 500-year-old Sixty Dome Mosque, a UNESCO-protected site with traditional Bengali architecture and Islamic terracotta tiles. Stop at the Shrine of Khan Jahan Ali and the Nine Dome Mosque, then check into your reserved Sundarbans boat for the night. - Meals

- Day 4Sundarbans National ParkBoard your boat from Port of Mongla into Sundarbans National Park, a World Heritage Site with the world's largest mangrove forest, Royal Bengal Tigers, and Gangetic dolphins. Stop at Chadpai Forest Office for entry permits and pick up an armed forest guard. Walk about 30 minutes to Harbaria Eco-Center for wildlife viewing. After lunch on the boat, spend the afternoon on safari through Kochikhali. In the evening, dock near Kochikhali Forest Office with optional small boat trips before sunset, then stay overnight on the boat. - Meals

- Day 5Sundarbans KotkaHave a simple breakfast, then take a small boat through a creek and hike into the forest. Return to the boat and head to Kotka, arriving in about 2 hours. Visit Jamtola Sea Beach for a quiet walk along the Bay of Bengal. After lunch, do a jungle walk at Kotka Wildlife Sanctuary to spot monkeys, deer, and birds, with chances to see tigers near the deer. Climb the watchtower for views across the area. The boat docks mid-Sundarbans tonight with a BBQ dinner on board. - Meals

- Day 6Sundarbans to KhulnaTake a small boat to a local fishing village to chat with fishermen about their daily life and work with your guide's help. Return to the boat and continue to Port of Mongla, then drive about 1.5 hours to Khulna. Check into your hotel and rest today since you'll start early tomorrow. - Meals

- Day 7Khulna to RajshahiDepart by train around 6:30 am for a 6-hour journey to Rajshahi with your guide. After checking into your hotel for a short break, head to Puthia Temple City, which has the largest concentration of Hindu temples in Bangladesh from the 16th century Mughal period. Visit the grand Shiva Temple, the biggest Hindu temple in Bangladesh. In the evening, drive to Padma River Bank to see the sunset, then stay overnight in Rajshahi. - Meals

- Day 8Rajshahi to BograDrive to Paharpur and visit the Kushumba Mosque, made from black basalt and dating to the medieval period. Explore the ruins of Paharpur Buddhist Bihar (also called Somapura Mahavira), a UNESCO-recognized site where Mahayana Buddhism developed in 7th century Bangladesh. The monastery shows its age with moss-covered blocks. After lunch, drive to Bogra to see ancient ruins at Mahasangarh and Gokul Medh, the capital of the lost Pundra Kingdom from 4th century BC, Bangladesh's earliest known archaeological site. Later, catch the sunset from Vasu Vihara, another Buddhist site, before checking into your Bogra hotel. - Meals
