Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangalore to Hampi
Start early from Bangalore and drive toward Hampi, which is about 350 kilometers away. The drive takes 6 to 7 hours, so you'll have plenty of time to settle in once you arrive. Check into your hotel and get comfortable for the evening.
- Day 2
Hampi
After breakfast, you'll head out to see Hampi's main monuments. Walk around the ancient temples on Hemakuta Hill first, then move on to the UNESCO World Heritage Virupaksha Temple with its detailed carvings. From there, check out the ruins of the King's Palace and StepWell. The Lakshmi Narasimha monolith statue is pretty impressive, and you'll end the day watching the sunset from Malyavanta Hill looking out over the town.

Hampi
Following breakfast, you'll continue exploring more of Hampi's sites. Visit the Vitthala Temple to see the famous Hampi Chariot and the musical pillars with their intricate work. After that, walk through the Queen's Bath with its ornate Indo-Islamic design and the Elephant's Stables, which once held royal elephants. Wrap up the day at the Lotus Mahal and its distinctive lotus-shaped design.
