- Day 1
Chihuahua City
You'll land at Chihuahua City Airport and get transferred to your hotel. Take some time to settle in and get your bearings. This high-desert capital has quite a bit to offer if you want to wander around this afternoon or evening, with museums, art galleries, and spots connected to the area's revolutionary past scattered throughout the city.

Landmarks Chihuahua City - Day 2
Chihuahua City to Creel to Divisadero
After breakfast, you'll head out toward Copper Canyon at 8 am, driving through the Chihuahuan Desert. There's a stop planned in the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc where you can get a sense of how they live. From there, continue on to Creel, a town with a lot of character. You'll check out the main plaza, Arareko Lake, and some rock formations in the area, then visit the old Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio. By evening, you'll reach Hotel Mirador, which sits right on the Copper Canyon rim.

- Day 3
Divisadero to Cerocahui
Start with breakfast at Hotel Mirador and take a morning tour to the Adventure Park. After that, you'll check out and head to Cerocahui, about an hour's drive through really green mountain scenery. You'll settle into Hotel Mission and walk through the Spanish courtyard and see the mission church from 1556. If you're interested, there's a Balderrama wine tasting available before dinner. Later in the afternoon, head out to the Urique Overlook for the views.

Cerocahui to El Fuerte (Bahuichivo to El Fuerte Train)
This is your day on the famous El Chepe train, and it's a big one. You'll depart Bahuichivo at 11:25 am and travel through the Sierra Madre Mountains, dropping from over 5,000 feet down to near sea level. The route goes through 86 tunnels and crosses 39 bridges, which is quite something to experience. You'll arrive in El Fuerte at 3:35 pm. Spend the afternoon walking around this historic colonial town, and there's an evening show at the hotel.
