Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Scenic Drive

    You'll spend the day driving through scenic landscapes with your guide handling stops along the route. The journey includes regular breaks so you can take in the views and stretch your legs between sections of driving.

  2. Day 2

    Wilderness to Oudtshoorn

    Head across the Outeniqua mountains toward Oudtshoorn, which you'll recognize as the ostrich farming center of the region. You'll tour a working ostrich farm with a local guide to learn how these birds are raised and managed, then move on to explore the Cango caves system with a guide leading you through the underground formations.

  3. Day 3

    Wilderness to Storms River

    Travel along coastal highways passing through Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. The route takes you through different coastal scenery before you reach Storms River village, which sits within the Tsitsikamma forests.

  4. Day 4

    Storms River to Port Elizabeth

    Drive at a relaxed pace from Storms River heading toward Port Elizabeth. Jefferey's Bay is an option to stop along the way if you're interested in seeing the well-known surf spot and checking out that part of the coast.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with South Cape Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and South Cape Expeditions will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "South Cape Expeditions" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
