Madurai was a deep dive into South Indian culture the Meenakshi Temple took my breath away. Our guide there was passionate and full of insights. The hotel stays were clean, comfortable. I especially appreciated our driver. The Periyar wildlife experience was a peaceful break, and cruising through Alleppey backwaters was the perfect way to wind down.
