- NMNicole· January 9th, 2025I was alone on the tour which was not ideal, but apparently that happens a lot. The tours are small and unless you book with others you will be alone. As a woman traveling alone I was relieved that all my guides and drivers were very respectful and I always felt safe with them. The drop-off and pick-ups from the airport went smoothly and the guides were always waiting for me which I was very happy about. The itinerary was good, but the places you were supposed to visit on the drive to your next city never happened. For example, on the drive to Jaipur. The itinerary says you will stop and visit Samode Palace and Samode village and take a camel ride. I was told Samode was closed and we couldn't go which I didn't believe and was disappointing. Also the items that are supposed to be included are not. Such as the rickshaw ride which my guide Vickram made me pay for. My guide in Jaipur, Mr. Udai, was very good! The rest of the guides were fine. I had one driver for the whole trip and he was an excellent driver. He took the driving very seriously, I felt safe with him, and he was always there to pick me up. The only nice hotel was the Hotel Vesta Maurya Palace in Jaipur. The other hotels were versions of a Motel 6. The hotels in Delhi were the worst. However, even if the worst hotel I enjoyed the free breakfasts. The food was good and kept me going when I went sight seeing.Show more

Drivers and tour guides were both very friendly and knowledgeable. Impeccable time management. Always on time, but also flexible on our request. The highlights of India is a nice combination of locations and top sightseeing locations. A must see for all India visitors. Beware: Tigers are best seen in May and June. As we visited in February, unfortunately no tiger sighting. But other animals and a nice experience after all. If possible, ask for tiger safari in zones 1-5 (avoid 6-10) as apparently, the number of tiger sightings in the first zones are considerably higher. The pace of the tour is very nice. Not too much crammed into one day, but also not a lot of lost time. We chose the 5* hotel option and we truly recommend it. We also recommend At Holiday as your tour operator for any other tour as Amit did a fantastic job without any need from our side to push or update the schedule. In Ranthambore National Park, there are 10 Gates, few gates are closed on Tuesday and few gates are closed in Wednesday. So if there any dates which is in Tuesday and Wednesday we shifted to another gates which is open on that. Also please note the Taj Mahal in Agra is Closed on Every Friday.
