Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens to Delphi to Meteora
You'll leave Athens early and head to Delphi, where you can walk through the ancient sanctuary and check out the Temple of Apollo along with the museum's collections. The drive takes you through mountain terrain, and you'll stop in Arachova to wander the cobblestone streets and try local food and wine. From there, it's on to Meteora, where those massive rock pillars with monasteries on top come into view. You'll have time to see the landscape before sunset sweeps across the valley. Spend the night in Meteora.

- Day 2
Meteora to Thermopylae to Athens
This morning you'll visit the Great Meteoron Monastery and the Holy Monastery of Varlaam to see the frescoes, icons, and Byzantine architecture up close. After exploring inside, you'll walk the cliff-top paths that give you views across all those rock formations and down into the valley. On the way back toward Athens, you'll stop at Thermopylae to see the monument for King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans. You'll arrive in Athens in time for the night.

- Day 3
Athens to Ancient Corinth to Epidaurus to Nafplio
Traveling from Athens, you'll reach Ancient Corinth to explore the early Christian sites where Paul preached, including the old synagogue and the Bema. You'll see the Corinth Canal before continuing to Epidaurus for the famous Ancient Theatre, which has incredible acoustics you can experience yourself. Later in the day, you'll get to Nafplio and have time to walk around the neoclassical buildings, squares, and the waterfront area. Overnight is in Nafplio.

Nafplio to Mycenae to Mystras to Areopoli
You'll spend time at Mycenae walking through the Lion Gate, looking at the royal burial sites, and getting a sense of the citadel and the power it held. Next, you're off to Mystras, a Byzantine hilltop settlement with medieval churches, monasteries, and ruins scattered across the slopes. After that, you'll head to Areopoli, a traditional Mani town with stone houses, old chapels, and mountain views all around you. You'll stay overnight in Areopoli.

Areopoli to Monemvasia
This full day takes you to Monemvasia, a medieval fortress town sitting on a small island connected by a stone causeway. You'll walk through the narrow cobblestone lanes, look at the Byzantine churches and old towers, and take in the medieval history. Later, you can climb up to the castle for views of the Aegean Sea and the dramatic coastline. After exploring, you'll head back to Areopoli for the night.

Areopoli to Diros Caves to Athens
You'll visit the Diros Caves, an underground network with crystal-clear waters and lots of stalactites and stalagmites to see. A guided boat tour takes you through the caves while explaining the mythology and archaeological significance. After you're done, the drive back to Athens wraps up your trip through Greece's historical sites and natural formations.
