Itinerary
- Day 1
Vancouver to Tofino
You'll board a ferry from Horseshoe Bay for a 1.5-hour crossing to Nanaimo, and it's worth keeping your eyes open for whales and eagles during the journey. After arriving, you're heading through Vancouver Island with a stop at the Old Country Market in Coombs to see that distinctive goat-topped roof. From there, you'll walk through the old-growth rainforest at Cathedral Grove before continuing on to Ucluelet. The day wraps up when you reach Tofino for check-in and free time to settle in.

Tofino to Vancouver
Your day starts with included hotel breakfast, then you're off to explore the Pacific Rim area. Long Beach is on the itinerary for potential surfing and whale watching, and after that you'll visit the Ucluelet Aquarium to check out local marine life. The afternoon takes you on the Wild Pacific Trail, which offers views of the rugged coastline from above. Before heading back, there's a stop in Port Alberni, then you'll board the ferry in Nanaimo for the return trip to downtown Vancouver.
