- Day 1
Strobl
You'll arrive at your hotel in Strobl and get settled along the shores of Wolfgangsee. After checking in, you'll receive your travel documents and have time to explore the area. This lake has been a popular vacation spot since the Middle Ages, with connections to Bishop Wolfgang of Regensburg and plenty of history tied to the region.

Strobl - Lake Wolfgangsee - Bad Ischl
This morning you'll start cycling from Strobl along the old Ischlerbahn railroad route around the southern shore of Wolfgangsee. You'll pass through the Blinklingmoos nature reserve, then take a ferry to St. Wolfgang to see the pilgrimage church and the well-known Weisses Rössl hotel. From there, continue cycling through Pfandl toward Bad Ischl, then head back to Strobl along the Ischl river. The full route covers about 34 km with roughly 348 m of climbing and descent combined.

- Day 3
Mondsee
You'll cycle along the south bank heading toward St. Gilgen, the Mozart town, where you can walk past historic villas and see Mozart's mother's birthplace. The route takes you past the Krottensee and over Scharflinger Höhe before you reach the crescent-shaped Mondsee. Spend time on the lakeside promenade taking in views of the Drachenwand mountain and its striking 400-meter vertical face. This day covers around 29 km with approximately 287 m of ascent and 344 m of descent.

Mondsee - Lake Irrsee
Start by visiting Mondsee's large basilica to see its artistic treasures. Then cycle around Lake Irrsee, which is the warmest lake in the Salzkammergut and surrounded by reed belts and nature reserve areas. You'll have several spots along the route where you can stop for a swim if you want a break. Complete the circuit and return to your accommodation in Mondsee. This route is approximately 24 km with roughly 251 m of climbing and descent.

Mondsee - Lake Attersee - Seefeld
You'll cycle along the northern shore of Mondsee through Au am Mondsee and head toward Unterach am Attersee. Only four kilometers separate these two lakes, and the southern Attersee has that true mountain lake feel with dramatic rock walls from the Höllenberge mountains. This area has inspired artists for over a century, including Gustav Klimt and composer Gustav Mahler. Explore Austria's largest inland lake before cycling to Seefeld for the night. The distance is around 26 km with approximately 295 m of ascent and 316 m of descent.

Lake Attersee - Weißenbach Valley - Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern
You're leaving the Attersee region now and entering the Inner Salzkammergut. Cycle through the scenic Weißenbachtal valley on wooded paths next to the mountain river, following the Salzkammergut cycle path toward Bad Ischl. Take time to visit the famous Café Zauner here, a former summer destination of Emperor Franz Joseph. Continue your ride past the pilgrimage site of Lauffen to Bad Goisern where you'll stay the night. This day totals approximately 34 km with roughly 509 m of ascent and 489 m of descent.

Bad Goisern - Lake Hallstatt
Follow the Traun river heading toward Lake Hallstatt, cycling the eastern shore which resembles a Norwegian fjord with spectacular views of the Dachstein mountains and glacier. The Sarstein flank drops almost vertically into the water, and a footbridge hovers above creating a memorable stretch of riding. In Obertraun, you have the option to visit the Dachstein Ice Caves or Mammoth Caves if time allows. Explore Hallstatt's narrow streets and historic houses, then return to Bad Goisern along the western shore. The route covers around 30 km with approximately 575 m of climbing and descent.
