Unfortunately the Hostelworld with Roamies Travel Style has an upper age limit of 35 years and no exceptions can be made on this. We do have other Travel Styles that have no age restrictions and you can check out some Costa Rica tours that could potentially work for you.

We don't offer single rooms for this trip unfortunately. We can book an arrival transfer if available, however, we don't offer the departure transfer at the end of the trip. When you have free time, you are welcome to do as you please, whether you stick with the group, some people from the group, or go off on your own. But you will need to organise your own transport during these times as we only have transport for the itinerary provided

We do not offer a departure transfer back to San Jose for this tour. You would need to coordinate that independently, or book it locally. We have other tours which will end in San Jose for travellers who do not wish to continue their adventures in Monteverde. Let us know if you would like us to recommend other options.

Our Roamies trips have 3 options when it comes to rooming. Twin room - pax shares with one other same gendered traveller. Female-only dorm - dorms of around 4-6 people with only females. Mixed-gender dorm - dorms of around 4-6 people with male and female. All rooms are shared bathrooms, so no ensuites available. Bathrooms are typically split by gender.

The closest start and finish airport is SJO - Juan Santamaría International Airport, Alajuela Province. The drive from Monteverde (where tour finishes) to SJO airport is around 2.00 - 2.5 hours.
