Asked on November 22nd, 2023I am 73, in reasonable shape but use a small portable mobility scooter when I have to walk distances due to a spatial disorientation syndrome. Scooter is light, folds flat, easy to transport. Good on all terrain except gravel. Need a hotel room with no stairs. Can this tour accommodate me?
Intrepid TravelOperator•Written November 2023Guests of all physical abilities are welcome on our tours; however, this is an adventure tour and stays in hostels. Whilst private room upgrades are available on request, we cannot guarantee and cannot guarantee that the room will be on the ground floor. Additionally, we cannot guarantee ensuite rooms as these are very limited in hostels. Sincere apologies for this however I am unsure if the guest would be comfortable on this tour. I think the guest would be more suited to a Haka Plus tour as this is a twin share in 3-4-star accommodations, all of which have ensuites. Private room upgrades are also available upon request.
