Very good organization of the interesting excursions. The trip through the three gorges was really great, although the constant soundtrack from the commentator, who spoke only mediocre English, would have been dispensable. The local tour guide and program were well coordinated and offered great insights with opportunities for independent exploration. A delicious and varied lunch was the daily highlight. Guides were very friendly and flexibe to accomodate individual wishes (special food, visits outside the programme etc); the large majority also had a very good background on local culture and history. Does that mean I would be joining other people who have booked the tour separately? If so, and I was the only person to book the tour, would it go ahead? If there is a minimum number of people required (greater than one), how close to the time of departure would it be cancelled if no other people book the tour?
