Arrival
You'll make your own way to the hotel this evening where your Holiday Director will be waiting for you. Get settled in and then head down for your welcome dinner to kick things off.

Athens
Start with Athens' main highlights, walking through the Panathenaic Stadium, the Old Parliament building and National Historical Museum, plus the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then head to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon and check out the archaeological findings at the Acropolis Museum. Your afternoon is free, so you can either wander around on your own or sign up for the optional trip to Cape Sounio to see the Temple of Poseidon.

Peloponnese to Nafpaktos
You'll drive into the Peloponnese, crossing the Corinth Canal along the way. First stop is the Theatre of Epidaurus, which is the best-preserved ancient theatre in Greece. After that, walk through the pretty seaport town of Nafplio with its medieval Old Town and waterfront. Then explore the ruins of Mycenae to see the Lion Gate, Grave Circle A, Royal Palace, Secret Stairway and Treasury of Atreus. Later, cross the Rio-Antirio Bridge heading toward Nafpaktos.

Nafpaktos
You have the day free to relax, or you can join the optional excursion on the Diakofto-Kalavryta Railway. The ride takes you through mountains, gorges and natural tunnels on a traditional cog train. After, you'll explore the town of Kalavryta sitting on the river Vouraikos, then visit the monastery of Mega Spileo perched on rocky slopes.

Olympia
Your included tour takes you to Olympia, the site of the original Olympic Games dating back to 776 BC. Set on the banks of the River Alfios, you'll walk through the Temple of Zeus, the Palaestra where Greek athletes practiced wrestling, and the workshop of Phidias. Before heading back, stop at the Olympia Archaeological Museum to see what they have on display.

Nafpaktos
You have the full day at leisure in Nafpaktos. Wander along the beachfront if you like, or grab lunch or dinner at one of the bars or restaurants on the harbour.

Delphi to Athens
Travel by road to Delphi, one of Greece's most sacred sites. You'll see the Sanctuary of Apollo and Treasury of the Athenians, then visit the Museum of Delphi. Later, head back to Athens, check into your hotel, and gather for a farewell dinner at a restaurant in Plaka, the city's Old Town.
