Itinerary
- Day 1
Keflavík to Borgarnes
Your guide meets you at the airport to kick off your Icelandic adventure. You'll head to the Blue Lagoon where you can soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters and grab a complimentary drink. There's a silica mask booth to try, plus sauna and steam room access before heading to your accommodation near Borgarnes for the night.

- Day 2
Snæfellsnes Peninsula
After breakfast, you're off to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The day includes Ytri Tunga Beach for spotting seals, then the Arnarstapi fishing village with its dramatic coastal cliffs and natural arch. You'll see the Budakirkja black church, Kirkjufell mountain, and Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. Later you'll check out Deildartunguhver hot spring, the village of Reykholt, and the waterfalls at Hraunfossar and Barnafoss before returning to Borgarnes.

- Day 3
Troll Peninsula - Akureyri
You start with Hvitserkur, a 15-meter basalt rock formation on black sand beach. From there, you'll explore the Troll Peninsula region. Optional activities include whale-watching in Eyjafjoerdur bay where you might see humpback whales, mink whales, and dolphins, or try the beer spa experience. You'll spend the night in Akureyri.

- Day 4
Mývatn - Egilsstaðir
This morning begins with an Akureyri city tour visiting the Christmas House and the Akureyrarkirkja church. If you're traveling in summer, the Botanical Gardens are open for a walk. Later you'll see Godafoss waterfall and explore the Myvatn region with caves and waterfalls. Hverir's geothermal area has boiling mud pools and steaming fumaroles to check out. During summer, Dettifoss waterfall is optional, and you'll also see the Studlagil Canyon with its basalt columns. You'll stay in Egilsstadur tonight.

- Day 5
Höfn
You'll drive through Iceland's East Fjords watching for wild reindeer. In summer, there's an optional stop in Borgarfjordarhofn to see puffins in their natural habitat. You'll explore Eggin i Gledivík with its giant egg sculptures representing Iceland's bird species, then stroll through the Christmas Tree Garden. An old Viking village sits beside Vestrahorn and Stokksnes where rugged mountains meet the sea. The night is spent in Hofn.

- Day 6
Diamond Beach - Hof/Kirkjubaejaklaustur
You'll visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, a 200-meter-deep lagoon fed by Breidamerkurjokull glacier with enormous icebergs floating in the water. Take a walk along the lagoon's edge or book an optional boat ride between the icebergs. Then it's to Diamond Beach where icebergs wash up on black sand and sparkle. Optional tours include amphibian boats or zodiac tours in summer, or blue ice cave tours in winter. You'll stay in Hof or Kirkjubaejaklaustur.

- Day 7
Skógafoss - Seljalandsfoss - Hella
Start at Reynisfjara black sand beach where powerful Atlantic waves crash against basalt columns. During summer months, you can spot puffins and other birds on the cliffs. You'll head west to Skogafoss, a 60-meter waterfall with an optional staircase for views. Seljalandsfoss is next, where you can hike behind the falls in a raincoat. Optional activities include a glacier hike on Solheimajokull or visiting the DC3 plane wreck. The night is in Hella.

- Day 8
Brúarfoss - Geysir - Gullfoss - Reykjavik
You'll visit Thingvellir National Park where you can see the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates visibly drifting apart. Thingvallavatn lake is nearby, and you'll learn about Iceland's parliament established here in 930 A.D. Bruarfoss waterfall has vivid blue color from minerals in the water. The Geysir Geothermal Area has hundreds of hot springs and geysers, including Strokkur which erupts every 5 minutes. Gullfoss waterfall comes next, fed by Langj okull glacier with possible rainbow views. Optional snowmobile or dog-sledding tours are available. You'll stay in Reykjavik.

- Day 9
Reykjavik City Tour
Your Reykjavik city tour includes Perlan, an iconic glass dome with a 360-degree viewing platform for panoramic views. The Hofdi building on the seafront is where the 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev summit happened. Hallgrimskirkja is Reykjavik's most iconic church, inspired by basalt lava columns. You'll explore the heart of Reykjavik including the Parliament Building at Austurvollur in the Old Town. Optional activities include the Wonders of Iceland and Aurora Northern Lights Show at Perlan or a Northern Light Cruise from September to April to search for the Aurora Borealis. You'll spend another night in Reykjavik.
