Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Reykjavik
Your guide will meet you at the airport to kick off your Icelandic trip. You'll head to the Blue Lagoon where you can soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters and get a silica mask treatment. After that, you'll take a city tour through Reykjavik to see the capital's main attractions and learn about its history. You'll spend the night in Reykjavik.

- Day 2
Golden Circle
You'll leave Reykjavik and drive the Golden Circle route. First stop is Thingvellir National Park where you can see where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, plus the historical parliament site. Then you'll check out the blue Briiarfoss Waterfall, followed by the Geysir Geothermal Area where Strokkur erupts roughly every 5 minutes. Next comes Gullfoss Waterfall, which is powered by Langjökull glacier. Horseback riding on Icelandic horses is available if you want. You'll stay overnight at a location chosen for potential Northern Lights viewing.

South Coast Waterfalls and Black Sand Beach
You'll start by hiking behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall while wearing a raincoat to get a unique view from behind the falling water. Next, you'll visit Skogafoss, a 60-meter waterfall where there's an optional staircase climb for views from above. The day ends at Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach with its basalt columns and powerful Atlantic waves. If you're visiting in summer, you might spot puffins nesting on the cliffs. You can also optionally hike on Solheimajokull glacier or visit the DC3 plane wreck. You'll stay near Vik overnight.

- Day 4
Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach
You'll head to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon to see large icebergs breaking off from Breidamerkurjokull and floating in the deep lagoon. You can either take a boat to get close to the ice or walk peacefully along the lagoon's edge. After that, you'll cross to Diamond Beach where icebergs wash ashore and sparkle on the black sand. Summer visitors can book an amphibian or zodiac boat tour, while winter visitors can explore blue ice caves. You'll stay overnight in Hofn.

- Day 5
East Fjords and Viking Heritage
You'll drive through Iceland's East Fjords while keeping an eye out for wild reindeer. In summer, you can visit Borgarfjardarhöfn to see puffins in their natural habitat. You'll check out Eggin í Gledivík, an art installation with giant egg sculptures representing Iceland's bird species. Then you'll walk through the Christmas Tree Garden before heading to an old Viking village with views of Vestrahorn mountain and Stokksnes' coastline. You'll stay overnight in Hofn.

North Iceland Waterfalls and Geothermal Wonders
You'll visit Godafoss, called 'The Waterfall of the Gods,' which drops over a 12-meter curved edge with multiple viewpoints. Then you'll explore the Myvatn region known for caves, waterfalls, and scenic Lake Myvatn. Next is Hverir, a geothermal hotspot with boiling mud pools and steaming fumaroles. In summer, there's an optional detour to Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall. You can also hike to Studlagil Canyon with its impressive basalt columns. You'll stay overnight in Akureyri.

- Day 7
Akureyri and North Coast
You'll explore Akureyri, Iceland's northern capital known as the 'City of Love.' You'll tour the charming Christmas House and the striking Akureyrarkirkja church. In summer, you can walk through the colorful Botanical Gardens. Later you'll travel to Hvitserkur, a dramatic 15-meter basalt rock formation on a black-sand beach that's often compared to a dragon. Optional whale-watching is available in Eyjafjordur bay, or you can relax at the unique Beer Spa. You'll head back to Reykjavik for the night.

Departure
Depending on when your flight leaves, you might get one final visit to the Blue Lagoon before heading to the airport, or you can spend time shopping for souvenirs. This day works around your specific flight time and can be customized to fit your needs.
