Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your Nepalgram representative meets you at Kathmandu airport and takes you to your hotel. After settling in, there's an evening briefing covering the Annapurna Base Camp Heli Trek route and what to expect. You'll have a chance to pick up any last-minute gear you might need before heading out.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara to Annapurna Base Camp Trek Start
A flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara gives you views of Annapurna, Manaslu, and the Himalayan range along the way. Your guide meets you at Pokhara airport and drives to the trekking start point. The first day is a warm-up hike, about 4 hours of gradual walking along the Madi Khola to get your legs moving.

- Day 3
Hile to Ghorepani
You'll trek roughly 7 hours from Hile toward Ghorepani village, working through stone stairs and jungle terrain. The path to Ulleri has some steep uphill sections before the landscape opens into peaceful green forest. By evening you reach Ghorepani where you can see both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges spread out in front of you.

Ghorepani to Poonhill and Tadapani
Start before sunrise to reach Poonhill and catch the light hitting Mt. Fishtail and the surrounding peaks. Head back down to Ghorepani for breakfast, then trek to Tadapani with quite a bit of elevation change through jungle. Bring some small bills if you want hot chocolate at one of the Poonhill tea shops along the way.

- Day 5
Tadapani to Chhomrong
Trek about 6 hours from Tadapani down to Chhomrong, the largest village on this route. The trail is mostly downhill which gives your knees a break after the previous days. You'll pass local schools and villages and can greet people with 'Namaste' as you walk through the cool green landscape.

Landmarks Annapurna South Chhomrong Village - Day 6
Chhomrong to Himalaya
Spend roughly 7 hours trekking from Chhomrong to Himalaya, a small village tucked in a river valley and surrounded by jungle. You'll walk through sections of thick bamboo forest that really make you feel surrounded by nature and far from anything else.

Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp
Today's trek takes about 8 hours from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp, the main goal of your trip. You'll pass through Deurali village and Machhapuchhre Base Camp where the views start to get really striking. The jungle gradually gives way to open terrain without trees as you climb toward base camp. Keep drinking water regularly since the altitude and cold can sneak up on you.

- Day 8
Annapurna Base Camp to Pokhara
A helicopter flight takes you from Annapurna Base Camp back down to Pokhara, giving you aerial views of the river valley you just trekked through. Once you land, your guide leads a tour of Pokhara city by private vehicle, including time at the famous Phewa Lake and a chance to walk around and see the city itself.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
A short 23-minute flight brings you from Pokhara back to Kathmandu. Your representative picks you up at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. After the trek, you'll want to rest and take it easy. Later you'll get details about what's happening tomorrow.

Kathmandu City Tour
You have a full day exploring Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage sites with a government-licensed tour guide and private vehicle. The itinerary includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and a Hindu cremation site. There's quite a lot to see in one day so the guide will keep things organized.
