Dawson City
You'll arrive in Dawson City and get settled at your hotel. There's time to walk around town, do some shopping, and get familiar with the area before your tour group meets up to go over what's coming next.

- Day 2
Tombstone Territorial Park
Head out by van along the Dempster Highway toward Tombstone Territorial Park. Once you arrive, you'll start with a hike up Goldensides Mountain right at the park entrance to get warmed up and take in your first views of the landscape. You'll spend the night at Tombstone Campground.

Tombstone Mountains - Grizzly Lake
Start your backcountry hike through the middle of the Tombstone Mountains, moving north into Grizzly Valley. After a short climb, you reach viewpoints that look out over the surrounding peaks and the trails ahead. That night you'll camp at Grizzly Lake.

Divide Lake - Grizzly Lake
Hike over Glissade Pass heading toward Divide Lake to reach some really nice viewpoints in the area. From there you can see into the rugged mountain formations called the 'Patagonia of the North'. You'll return to Grizzly Lake to camp.

Tombstone Mountains
Depending on the weather and how the group is doing, you'll either hike up to a pass north of Mt. Monolith or head toward a lake to the south. The autumn colors and views of Mt. Monolith, the valleys, and mountain lakes fill out the day. Camp again at Grizzly Lake.

Tombstone Campground
After several days at Grizzly Lake, you'll make your way back down the south ridge along Grizzly Creek valley to reach the trailhead. From there, you head back to Tombstone Campground for your last night camping in the north.

Dawson City
Drive back to Dawson City early and start exploring the historic gold rush town. Check out Jack London's and Robert Service's cabins, then head to Bonanza and Eldorado Creek where gold was first discovered during the Klondike Gold Rush. Drive up to Midnight Dome for great views of the town, walk through the well-preserved buildings from the gold rush era, and end the evening at Diamond Tooth Gerties casino with Can-Can dancers.
