Arrival
You'll arrive at the hotel on your own schedule. In the evening, meet your CEO and the rest of the group. There's an optional group dinner if you want to join and get to know everyone before the trip starts.

Cat Cat Village
An early morning shared van takes you up to Sa Pá in the mountains. After dropping your luggage at the hotel, you'll head out with just a day pack to explore Cat Cat Village on foot. The trek shows you traditional wooden water wheels and local weaving workshops along the way. You'll trek back to Sa Pá for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Cat Cat Village Sa Pá - Day 3
Tả Van Village
A 15km hike takes you down to Tả Van Village through valleys dotted with small villages and rice terraces. You'll stop in the H'Mong village of Lao Chai for a picnic lunch and hear about a famous ancient rock in the area. From there, you'll meet the Red Dzao community in Tả Van and stay at a rustic homestay where your host family prepares dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Tả Van Village Lao Chai - Day 4
Sa Pá - Hanoi
The day starts with a trek to Giang Ta Chai village, passing by the Muong Hoa River along the way. You'll hike through rice paddies and bamboo forest, with nice waterfalls to see during the trek. The H'Mong community in their traditional dress will be part of your route. After trekking, you'll transfer back to Sa Pá and catch an overnight train to Hanoi in a 4-berth cabin.

Tour End
The train arrives at Hanoi station in the morning and you'll transfer to your starting hotel where the tour ends. If you're booked on another G Adventures tour that begins later today, your CEO can help you plan things to do and arrange transport to get you there.
