Chengdu to Bipenggou Valley to Guergou
Your hotel pickup happens in central Chengdu, then you'll drive for 3.5 hours to reach Bipenggou Valley. Once there, a shuttle bus takes you to the viewing stop where you can walk through the valley and take in the clear lakes, snow-capped mountains, primitive forests, and wildflowers scattered around. After spending time exploring the area, you'll transfer to Guergou Town for the night. The town is known for its hot springs, so you can unwind at your hotel and relax in the warm waters.

Guergou to Dagu Glacier to YangRongHaDe
An early morning transfer from your hotel means about 5 hours of driving ahead to reach Dagu Glacier. This glacier's notable for having the world's highest cable car and café sitting at 4,860 metres elevation. You'll ride up and take in the beautiful snow views during your time there. From the glacier, you'll head to YangRongHaDe, a Tibetan village whose name means 'the place that Immortals love'. Walking through, you'll see traditional dwellings, bright flowers, colorful prayer flags, and auspicious Tibetan signs. You'll stay overnight here to get a real sense of authentic Tibetan life and culture.

YangRongHaDe to Chengdu
After breakfast, take a walk through the village to soak in the Tibetan atmosphere before beginning the drive back to Chengdu. Along the way, you'll pass through Yingxiu town and Wenchuan county and stop at earthquake memorial sites. These sites document the 2008 8.0 magnitude earthquake and show how the community recovered and rebuilt. You'll see preserved buildings that remain in their post-earthquake state, reinforced for safety, which really shows the scale of what happened and the rescue efforts that followed. Once you finish at the memorial sites, continue driving back to your hotel in Chengdu where your tour wraps up.
