Itinerary
- Day 1
Dubrovnik
You'll arrive at Dubrovnik Airport where a local representative meets you to help with car hire. After driving to your hotel and checking in, the medieval old town is right there to explore. The protective walls, historic palaces, and churches are walkable on your own, or you can book a two-hour guided tour if you'd rather have someone point out the details most visitors miss.

Dubrovnik to Biograd na Moru
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Šibenik and Biograd na Moru, which work well as bases for the national parks nearby. Krka National Park offers waterfalls and walking trails you can do independently, while Paklenica is great for hiking. There's also an optional three-hour guided Krka tour with an English-speaking guide if you prefer structured exploration.

Biograd na Moru
Start with breakfast, then you have choices. Šibenik and Biograd na Moru are on the agenda, or you can drive to one of the national parks instead. Paklenica, Kornati, or Telašćica each have different landscapes. You'll find an optional three-hour guided Krka tour available if you want a private guide showing you the natural sites.

Biograd na Moru to Zagreb
After breakfast, you'll drive to Zagreb and settle into your hotel. The city mixes old and new really well, with Ilica as the longest street running between Upper Town and Lower Town. St. Mark's Church's colorful roof, Lotrščak Tower, and the Gradec and Kaptol areas are all worth seeing on foot. Later, grab coffee at one of the open-air cafés that define Zagreb's character.

Zagreb
Breakfast comes first, then you can head to Samobor for the local pastry called krema, or check out Hrvatsko Zagorje with Veliki Tabor fortress and its museum, or visit Trakošćan castle. If you'd rather have someone guide you, there's a two-hour city tour or a wine tasting with a sommelier featuring Croatian wines, prosciutto, cheese, and bread.

Zagreb to Split
You'll have breakfast at the hotel before heading to Split. The drive shows off nice landscapes on the way to one of Croatia's top coastal cities. Once there, walk around and find landmarks on your own, wandering through the old town's alleys and checking out Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO site from the fourth century. A sightseeing tour is available if that works better for you.

Split
After breakfast, the coastal drive offers views of Cetina Canyon. You'll stop in Omiš, a city with a piracy past and medieval fortresses like 13th-century Mirabelle and 15th-century Starigrad, plus a sandy beach there. Then it's on to Trogir, a small coastal spot with medieval palaces, churches, and squares that earned it UNESCO status. Walk around independently or take a two-hour guided tour, or try wine and olive oil tasting.

After breakfast and checking out, you'll drive to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This city sits on the Nerete river with incredible architecture and landscape. The famous Old Bridge is the main draw, and narrow streets wind through the bazaar, Turkish houses, and mosques giving the place an Oriental feel. A two-hour guided tour with an English-speaking guide is available if you want context.

Mostar to Dubrovnik
Following breakfast and hotel checkout, you'll head back to Croatia, driving to Dubrovnik through charming villages and natural quiet settings. When you arrive, walk through the streets and soak in the Mediterranean atmosphere. Grab lunch at a local restaurant or coffee at a terrace to ease into being back.

Dubrovnik
Your day in Dubrovnik starts with breakfast. The ancient city walls are worth the walk for the views and the sense of history. Optional activities include a two-hour guided tour, Game of Thrones sites at Fortress Lovrijenac, or a boat trip to Lokrum Island.
