Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Sibiu
You'll arrive in Sibiu and connect with your tour guide in the city center. From there, a guided walk takes you through the Old Town, where you'll learn about the city's history as the 2007 European Capital of Culture and 2019 European Region of Gastronomy. Late in the afternoon, you'll head to Răşinari village for a two-night stay at a family pension, finishing the day with dinner.

Cycling through Villages and Orchards
Your cycling adventure starts from Răşinari, heading through Cisn\u0103die and Cisn\u0103dioara where you'll stop at a fortified church. The route then winds through traditional Romanian shepherd villages nestled at the base of the Cindrel Mountains, passing through Poplaca and Gura Răului before cycling back to Răşinari by late afternoon.

Cycling to Biertan via Fortified Churches
Today involves cycling through villages with fortified churches, starting at Hosman and Alzen. You'll ride through Barghis and Pelisor to reach Biertan, home to one of the region's most significant fortified churches and a former bishop's seat. You'll check in for a two-night stay and have dinner.

Landmarks Biertan Fortified Church - Day 4
Cycling to Richis, Mălâncrav, and Medias
A shorter cycling route takes you from Biertan to Richis, where you'll meet with a local artist. Then you'll continue on to Mălâncrav to visit another fortified church with an impressive tower. After that, you cycle to Medias to explore this Saxon city, then head back to Biertan via Dupus for dinner.

Sighisoara to Viscri and Bran
You'll transfer to Sighişoara for a guided city tour, then bike the Via Transilvanica route to Viscri to visit its fortified church. After a rest, the support vehicle takes you onward to Bran for a two-night stay and dinner.

Dracula's Castle, Râşnov Fortress, and Brașov
Morning brings a visit to Dracula's Castle, followed by a stop at Râşnov Peasant Fortress. Next, you'll head to Schullerau for views across Burzenland, then enjoy a guided city tour of Brașov hitting the Black Church and other central attractions. You'll return to Bran for dinner.

Bran to Sibiu via Carpathian Route
Following the Carpathian route, you'll cycle to Zărnești, which has observation platforms for bear watching. The route continues through Poiana Mărul to Sercaia, then a bus transfer takes you back to Sibiu by late afternoon for dinner and your final night with the tour guide.
