Itinerary
- Day 1
Sainte Marie
You'll arrive at Sainte Marie and spend your first day checking out Ambodifototra, the island's capital. The Queen Betty Museum gives you insight into local history and why whales matter so much to this place. There's also the oldest church in Madagascar dating back to 1857 that you can walk through, and the Pirates' Cemetery offers nice views over the lagoon and mangroves.

- Day 2
Sainte Marie
After breakfast, you'll take a boat trip south to Ile aux Nattes, a small island with white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoon waters. You'll sail around in a traditional pirogue with several stops for swimming, snorkeling, and just relaxing. Later you head back to the hotel.

- Day 3
Sainte Marie
Depending on when you visit, you either get a whale-watching boat trip (available July-September, around 2 hours) to see these marine mammals leap in their natural habitat, or during other months you'll do nautical activities at Ilot aux Sables where you can snorkel at the reef and explore clear waters. By evening, you'll get a relaxing massage back at the hotel.

Sainte Marie
After breakfast, you'll travel to the natural pools near Ambodirano village in northern Sainte Marie by way of a red clay track. You visit three different pools: Antsarikelitry pool where shoes can't touch the water according to local custom, Antsarirabe pool with calm waters, and a small lagoon where stronger currents make swimming not really feasible. You return to the hotel afterward.

Sainte Marie
Your final morning takes you to Endemika, a small zoological park with tropical flora and fauna including snakes, reptiles, turtles, and lemurs getting care. You'll take a final walk through coconut groves before heading out mid-afternoon.
