You'll arrive in Dunhuang and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. Breakfast is waiting for you, and you'll settle in for the night after your journey.

Dunhuang
Start with breakfast, then head to the Mogao Caves to see the intricate wall art and sculptures carved into the rock faces. After lunch, continue to the Singing Sand Dunes where you can walk around the massive sand formations, then visit Crescent Moon Spring nestled between the dunes. Later in the evening, check out the night market for street food and local crafts.

- Day 3
Dunhuang to Jiayuguan
You'll take a 3-hour bullet train to Jiayuguan this morning. Once you arrive, grab breakfast before heading to Jiayuguan Fort to walk through the old structures and walls. After that, see the Overhanging Great Wall section, then stop at the Wei and Jin Ancient Graveyard to look at the historic tomb paintings. Lunch is included during the day.

Jiayuguan to Zhangye
Eat breakfast early, then spend 2 hours driving to Zhangye. You'll visit Rainbow Mountain to see the colorful geological formations created by mineral deposits in the clay and rock. If weather cooperates, you'll also go to the Giant Buddha Temple to view the large carved Buddha statue before checking into your Zhangye hotel. Lunch happens during your time there.
