Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Salzburg

    You'll arrive in Salzburg and pick up your rental bike to get a feel for the city at your own pace. Wander along the Salzach river or head up Kapuzinerberg hill for views over the rooftops, and check out the shops on Getreidegasse. There's a welcome meeting included to help you settle in.

  2. Day 2

    Salzburg to Oberndorf to Moor Lakes

    Take a short regional train to Oberndorf (or cycle if you're comfortable on two wheels), the birthplace of 'Silent Night'. From there you'll ride along the scenic Salzach river into Austria's largest moor area. Later in the day, swim in the warm lakes Höllersee and Holzsee, both with family-friendly lidos.

    Moor Lakes

    Start with a swim in one of the warm moorland lakes, then try Wanderbauerngolf, a fun miniature golf game played with wooden bats along walking paths. If you prefer, cycle along the Salzach river to Burghausen instead to wander through its charming old town.

  4. Day 4

    Trumer Lake District

    Cycle through the nature reserve past the animal paradise toward Michaelbeuern, then head into the Trumer Lake district. You'll see three crystal-clear lakes here: Obertrumer See, Mattsee, and Grabensee. All three are good for swimming and cooling off after your ride.

    Trumer Lakes Adventure

    Choose between three massive lidos with water slides and rafts for family fun, or try the high rope course where you can swing up to 35 metres. Another option is a shorter cycling tour around Obertrumer See with a swimming break. Plenty of ways to cool off and have fun.

    Cycle along the scenic Wallersee with its lidos to Seekirchen, then continue to Eugendorf. Follow the old Ischler Bahntrasse, a decommissioned train path, back into Salzburg. Spend the rest of the day checking out the city's top attractions and enjoying its culture.

    Everything was so well organised we could just relax and ride the bikes. We hired bikes and they were in great condition and gave us no problems- I would definitely recommend this holiday. The accomodation was excellent too.

For tours departing after February 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Eurobike. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
