Itinerary
- Day 1
Johannesburg to Hazyview
You'll get picked up from OR Tambo Airport or your hotel between 6 and 7 am for the drive into Mpumalanga. The drive itself is scenic, and along the Panorama Route you'll see Blyde River Canyon (the world's third largest canyon), Bourke's Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, and God's Window. The Three Rondavels are also on the route. Before heading to your lodge in Hazyview, you'll have time to stop in Graskop for shopping. You'll have dinner at the lodge and turn in early for the next day.

Kruger National Park
Get up before sunrise because you're heading out in an open vehicle for a full-day safari through Kruger National Park. Your ranger will take you to water holes, lookout points, and rivers looking for the Big 5 and other wildlife including over 100 mammal species and 500 bird species. Breakfast happens at one rest camp and lunch at another, so you'll eat during the day. By 4 pm you're back at the lodge, where you can relax by the pool before dinner and an early night.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
This final safari starts at 5:30 am with your luggage packed and ready, so you can catch the sunrise before finishing at 11:30 am. After a pre-packed breakfast you'll continue the safari through mid-morning, then head to Perry's Bridge in Hazyview to meet the shuttle at noon for the drive back to OR Tambo Airport.
