Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
You'll leave Nairobi in the early morning and drive through the Kenyan Highlands, passing pineapple and coffee plantations along the way. After a few hours on the road, you'll reach Aberdare Country Club for lunch. From there, your driver takes you to The Ark Lodge in Aberdare National Park, where you'll have time to settle in during the afternoon. Later, head out to the lodge's floodlit viewing decks that overlook a waterhole and saltlick. This is when the wildlife activity picks up, so you'll spend your evening watching animals come and go as darkness falls. The setup here means you can see nocturnal creatures and those active at dusk, all from the comfort of the lodge.

Aberdare National Park to Nairobi
Start the morning with breakfast at The Ark Lodge, then pack up for your return journey. You'll reconnect with your driver and head back toward Nairobi through the same route. The drive back takes several hours, but you'll arrive just before lunch, which is when your tour ends. It's a straightforward transfer day that wraps up your Aberdare experience.
